Dr. David Coppola

Dr. Coppola has practiced holistic medicine for over 15 years. He founded the Optimal Health Center of Miami in 1997, and added a second office in the Upper Florida Keys in 1999. He has provided excellence in holistic health care by personalizing treatment plans and helping people recognize the root causes of imbalances in health. He is a life coach and Certified LifeLine Practitioner who enriches and inspires as he teaches awareness and the ways to optimal health.

He practices Chiropractic Manipulation, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy and The LifeLine Technique™.  The LifeLine Technique™ is a life-changing integrative healing system used to evaluate your body, mind and spirit. It uses muscle testing to identify the emotional, biochemical, structural and spiritual source of a symptom (the root cause). It includes Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Applied Kinesiology (AK), Total Body Modification (TBM), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), Ayurveda, Color and Chakra Therapy, and Vibrational Medicine.

Dr. Coppola earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology at Villanova University and his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree at the National College of Chiropractic. His post-graduate studies include acupuncture at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Total Body Modification (TBM), and certification in The LifeLine Technique™. He has received additional intensive holistic training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Psychological Traumas Healing, Hormonal Balancing, Ayurvedic Healing, and many other forms of energy medicine.

He has helped over two thousand clients restore health and maintain wellness through every stage of their lives. He is grateful to share his ability to facilitate your healing.

Sara Badano, MD


Dr. Badano has practiced Internal Medicine for 17 years, and has been Board Certified since 1998. She has practiced in the Upper Keys and has had privileges at Mariner’s Hospital since 2003. She opened her office in the Tassell Building at Mariner’s Hospital campus in 2006. She co-founded and acted as Medical Director of the Mariners Diabetes Center in 2007.

Previously, Dr. Badano worked at the Altru Clinic and at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN, both as an Attending Physician and an Emergency Department Physician. She also has served as Medical Director for the Diabetes Center and the Emergency Medical Services Group.

Dr. Badano received her Medical Doctor degree from the Universidad de la Republica in Uruguay in 1992, then completed her Internal Medicine Residency while working as an Attending Physician for the Department of Medicine at the Hospital de Clinicas, Uruguay. In 1993 Dr. Badano moved to the US after successfully completing the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG®) examination. In 1997, she completed her Residency in Categorical Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL.


Lissa Nirenberg, D.O.M., FABORM

Lissa Nirenberg, D.O.M. is nationally certified as a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine from NCCAOM, and is a Florida board verified Acupuncture Physician. Dr. Nirenberg combines the ancient techniques of Acupuncture, Herbology, and Oriental Bodywork to heal body, mind and spirit.

Some of the imbalances she can help you with are chronic and acute pain, stress and anxiety relief, weight management, sleep disorders, and headaches. Other areas of expertise include women’s heath: fertility, pregnancy, postpartum & menstrual disorders, emotional balance and improved overall health.

Lissa has studied with various experts around the world and continues to increase her knowledge in herbology, fertility and women’s health as well as pain relief. She is a certified as a fellow with the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine.

Taking each client from where they are to where they want to be is her goal. Lissa works with them individually to obtain and maintain their optimal health.

Ms. Nichols is a trained Metaphysician with a broad background and 25 years of experience as certified Holistic Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Life coach, Healer, Nutritionist, and educator with 15 years as a president of her own diet clinic. She is an Ordained Minister specializing in spiritual development, counseling, and teaching.

Ms. Nichols is a Reiki Master. Reiki is an ancient healing art of stress reduction and relaxation with many healing benefits. Depending on a client’s needs, she combines Reiki with Energy Medicine, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and BioGenesis healing tools to integrate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing.
