Procedures & Prognosis
The roadmap to optimal health is based upon three phases of healing:
Detoxification, Regeneration and Maintenance
1. Detoxification- is the initial stage of healing. This is when the body, mind, and spirit begin the purging process of poisons and toxins. Without this phase a person will not have the balance necessary to help the body and mind heal. During this phase of care, it is imperative to follow healthy lifestyles to support the cleansing process. Specific supplementation is often recommended to provide support and to facilitate the body and mind during detoxification. The treatment plan can call from 1 to 2 visits weekly from anywhere between 2 to 8 weeks.
2. Regeneration- is the second stage of healing. Once the body, mind, and spirit have gone through detoxification, the regenerative capabilities of the body will occur all on their own. Every cell in the body has the capacity to regenerate. For example, cells within the intestine and stomach will regenerate every 3 to 5 days. Skin regenerates every 28 days. Red blood cells regenerate every 120 days. By going through the first phase of healing (detoxification), your body will have the balance it needs for healing to occur. Depending upon the person, the treatment plan can range from 1 visit weekly to every third week.
3. Wellness- is all about living life to the fullest. Balance is the key towards the maintenance phase of care. It is through living your life in balance that you reconnect to your infinite potential. By going through the detoxification and regeneration phases of healing, you will have learned the tools and strategies for living life in the present moment. With this new and heightened perception, symptoms and life's challenges take on a whole new meaning. Living a life of balance is the way to optimal health! Depending upon the person, wellness visits are recommended every 1 to 3 months.
